Apple iPhone 6 release date 'revealed' with 32GB and 64GB models on offer

supposed 'leaked' report has listed the third Friday in September for the tech giant's latest release but made no mention of a 5.5inch model
Apple will be launching the iPhone 6 on September 19 in 32G and 34GB, according to a report.
The website MacRumors has slated a release for the third Friday of the ninth month which is in line with previous launches.
Last year the iPhone 5s and 5c hit the shelves on that date, and before that both the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4 were also launched on the same week in previous years.
This date corresponds with the end of Apple's fiscal year meaning it is one of their most lucrative times to unveil the new model.
The 4.7inch handset is slated to be released in two versions - 32GB and 62GB.
There is no mention of a 16GB model which until now has been the standard memory offered by the tech giant.
Prices for the handset are also being rumoured to stand at 5,288 yuan (around £500) for the 32GB and 6,288 yuan (around £590) for the 64GB model.
Strangely there was no mention of a 5.5inch phablet model which is expected to make its debut this autumn.
Much of the speculation surrounding the iPhone 6's release is concerned with whether Apple will be releasing two versions of the handset.
The phablet will apparently be Apple's attempt at competing with their rivals.
Once the framework is rolled out it will likely be used on Apple's other products such as the iPad and the forthcoming iWatch.
This was discovered in the codes used on the iOS 8 operating system that the phone will be using.
While time will tell what the new model will feature, a series of 'leaked' images have already sparked the imagination of tech fans.
These same images also showed that the headphone jack would be remaining size meaning older equipment would still work.
A dummy version of the handset has been making the rounds online and is seemingly the same in every picture.
Two weeks ago, Weibo user Jimmy Lin also posted pictures of the new phone - which you can see in the below gallery - including the two differently sized versions.
The Taiwanese pop star previously leaked images of the iPad Mini which turned out to be authentic.
